North Dorset is one of two places in England to develop a new ‘green map’ of action by local communities to tackle climate change. The map will be an ‘on-line’ resource that will help anyone interested find out what is going on and how they can get involved. The other map is for Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Read more

Hackney Wick sits on the boarder of the 2012 Olympic Park development and falls within the wave of re-development planned for the Thames Gateway. The Community Map has been developed with local residents as a mechanism for  communication.
